Hey just wanted to give y'all an update since I haven't been doing weekly/biweekly releases recently. I decided to take more time on my animations instead of just rushing stuff out. Today I'm releasing an over 2 minute long Game Grumps animation that I've been working on for a little over a month. I'm already working on the next animation which is another Game Grumps cartoon buttttt it's gonna be one of those Game Grumps Songs. I'm trying to be secretive so it can be more of a surprise when it comes out haha. It's only a little over a minute long so I can't see it taking longer than a month so expect the next animation to be out beginning of May. This recent release is kind of a song too since the guys are just singing to the music of the game. I had a few titles for this project like "Piss song" "Pee pee Poo Poo song" but I'm sticking with P Song just in case the video gets flagged haha. As

Also I have been promoting my series Journey from last year. I recently made an edit of it as a short film and have been submitting to some festivals. Already I have won an award for best animation at the Couch Film Festival in Toronto, Canada! I plan to release this version online probably around the 1 year anniversary mark. I'm still slowly picking away at the writing and designing stage for my next original project but don't have anything to show as of now.

Came out with a new toon that's just a short goof on Hazbin Hotel! It doesn't have any spoilers! Not sure if I want to make another HH cartoon, right now I just want to watch the show and enjoy it without being like "content brain." I based the designs mostly on knock off plushies that are hilarious.

Before that I made another Pikmin cartoon. I have a few ideas for some more Pikmin shorts and it seems like people enjoy those the most. When it comes to making cartoons these past few months I've been all over the place. Working on a ton of different ideas, a little bit at a time. There's one Pikmin short thats boarded and a voice line recorded. I also have a Silent Hill 2 short that's boarded out and even some animation and voice work done. I would like to do something with Katamari and those cousins in the games! Only have one idea so far but I feel like that's untapped potential. I can't seem to find too many people making animated parodies on it.

I have also been picking away at a new original show. It's still in super early writing stage but I have been coming up with some character designs for the cast. Still way too early to show anything but that's something for the future! I just want to keep my animating skill active which is why I'm trying to push out a short every two weeks or week if I can. Also experiment with some stuff. I've been editing/compositing these shorts differently than my past work.

Just released another zelda parody! So that's the only two since I want to parody some other things! I'm just wrapping up one more short that I will release in the next week or two? Then taking a break for the holidays but should have more in the new year! Already boarding some ideas for those, one of which I want to do is a Silent Hill 2 parody.

2023 was a big year and honestly wasn't expecting to make these parodies in the last few weeks since releasing my original/parody series Journey! That was a HUGE project that took like 3 years to make. I do want to make another short mini series like that again but I just need to experiment a bit more with these parodies and write the script. I already have the idea/story but just need to write it and flesh it out. Also debating about "how" to make it. Whether I should try to find a team to help this time around instead of doing everything myself. But we will see.

I like to keep making really short parody animations like this though just so then I can keep up my craft because for the work I did for Journey this year was just all the background art and post production so really I didn't do any "animating" until these parodies recently.

Alright just released one of two Zelda parodies! Both will be within Tears of the Kingdom game. Will be working on some more "bite sized" cartoons. I'd like to get into a habit of just making short content like this as I prepare for ANOTHER series which will be a few years again.

I remember saying I wouldnt post for a long while after finishing my series Journey but i lied lol. So here's 1 of 2 Pikmin parodies I've been working on. I based this idea off this menu section in Pikmin4. Also Louie is just a low key psychopath lol. My other Pikmin short should be out next month since its just another "short" one. But also have some others in the works for other games so stay tuned!

I'm hoping to get this short out before Halloween! Stay tuned! Another two more shorts I am working on as well.

Alright I lied about not making any new toons for awhile :D I started a few short parodies at the beginning of Sept but had to put them on hold because I ended up moving to Vancouver recently! Anyways here's a little tease, hopefully get them out before the end of the year.

I've been slowly releasing the episodes for this 6 part series Journey this summer and now that they're all out, you can binge it in one sitting. Glad it's finished because I'm already planning for a new series. Although I will still be promoting the heck out of it like I have been but only getting a little bit of views. I was expecting to match the views my other parodies I made in 2020 on Youtube which was 1-5K.

This was quite a bit different thing to make since it was a mash up of an original story with original characters but also mixed in video game parodies. Also in the beginning I wanted to make this a game but then changed it to a series. I did spend like 3 years on it since I started the project back in summer of 2020 but didn't work on it for most of last year because I was commissioned to make cartoons for DenisDaily which turned out great but all that content is on his channel and not mine.

The animation for Journey was done before those shorts but the background art and post production was done afterwards. So when it comes to the "animation" the DenisDaily content is whats actually newer. XD I could have other content come out when making the next "series" but we'll see. Journey was ALOT of work. You can expect my future cartoons to be more goofy and colorful.

So it will be quiet for some time before I get to release any new cartoons. But for now you can enjoy my series Journey and if you haven't seen my animated shorts for DenisDaily check those out too! I made roughly 40 of them, they were around 30 seconds long and the release schedule was two per week! I did all the boarding, animating, backgrounds, post work, for those. It was a very tough gig and probably the quickest I've come to animating.

big AAA title's referenced but also some great indie horror games in there too!

Of course I can only put in so much for these two plus minute episodes. Since I made two live action silent hill fan films it only feels right that I should make jokes on them in the cartoon format. :P

Now that episode 3 is released we are officially half way through the series! The first half is more of the fun side of the show as the second half dips a little into drama. This shot where Larry beats up a bunch of villagers is probably my favourite shot I animated. XD

It will be interesting to see how people will feel by the end of it. It seems like a lot of cartoons nowadays are just a mix of several genres instead of just focusing down on one. The writing of this series is done in that way so I love to see what people think by the end.

I've been busy promoting as much as I can like posting on Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok but only getting little engagement/views. I have been experimenting with posting Youtube Shorts and TikToks so having the video in a phone aspect ratio but this takes more time to edit. My DenisDaily Shorts I animated I kept in mind that it would be in both phone and widescreen but this show was animated before that. So the shots are very zoomed in which I don't like too much but maybe for future projects I will keep a phone aspect in mind.

For the next episode they will be travelling through some dark and spooky woods, I wonder what they will find?
